Born on 28 September 1982 (Age 38 Years as of 2020), Ranbir Kapoor is an actor and a film producer. He predominantly works in the Bollywood film industry. He is the great-grandchild of Prithviraj Kapoor and grandson of Raj Kapoor and son of Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor.
Ranbir has also a production house named Picture Shuru Productions which he started in 2017.

Ranbir was born in a very famous Kapoor family and he has inherited acting. From his great-grandfather to his father, all had been a great actor. He dis schooling from Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board, and Bombay Scottish School and was an average student.
He completed his pre-university at H. R. College of Commerce and Economics and went to New York to pursue film making and method from the School of Visual Arts and Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute respectively.
Coming back to India, he worked as an assistant director in the movies Aa Ab Laut Chalen(1999) and Black (2005). He then signed Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s Saawariya in 2007 as an actor. However, this movie was a flop at the box office. In 2008, Bachna Ae Hasino was his first commercial success. In the year 2009, he gave three consecutive hits movies – Wake Up Sid, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, and Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year. After that, he gave many hits and blockbusters to the Bollywood film industry.
Ranbir won six Filmfare awards for his outstanding performances for the movies Saawariya, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, Sanju, Barfi, and Rockstar.

Ranbir made a debut in the movie Saawariya in 2007. He played the character of an orphaned and homeless artist who falls in love with Sakina.
